1st Library Trip

Monday night my Mom and I took Addison to the library for the first time. She met a little boy there who was only 3 days older than her. She kept walking up to him trying to kiss him(don't tell Brian!!) She followed him all the around the library, babbling up a storm talking to him. Then the little boy left and she found "the chair" as you'll see in the pics below. She managed to get up and down off the chair probably close to 50 times. We ended up checking out her first book - Baby Signs by Joy Allen.

14 Months Old

• Has 8 teeth (4 on top, 4 on bottom)
• Wearing Clothes size 18-24 months and 2T
• Weighs 25lbs
• Can say 12 words. Can put two words together. She'll ask "What's that" or "Who's that"
• Still sleeping through the night
• Only takes one 3 hour nap a day
• She's a great eater and found out this weekend she LOVES pasta salad(Brian is so proud...lol)
• She still continues to mimic us and it is so fun watching her learn. The other night after putting her Pajamas on she picked up her clothes off the floor and I said "Go put your clothes in the laundry" She then walked over to the laundry room and as I opened up the washer and she put her clothes in.
• She is officially bottle free!!
• She loves to be chased around the house and loves to play hide and seek.
• She gives kisses to everyone and everything.
• She went to church for the first time on Sunday
• She went to the library for the first time last night (will do a blog post on this later)
• She loves to show off her tummy and bellybutton
• She has learned how to take bows and barrettes out of her hair.

Weekend Pics

Church

This morning we went to church for the first time in a really long time. The church has been established for 3 years but services were always held at a local elementary school. They just built a new church and today was the 3rd service held in it. The pastor is young and very inspirational. There were lots of other young families and kids there. Whenever the congregation sang a hymn Addison would sing too...so cute!! She did really well during the service and didn't get antsy until the last song. We are planning to go again next weekend.

Fun with Crayons

When we got to my parents house after work today my Mom had bought Addison some new crayons. At first Addison was interested in using them but after a couple minutes she started throwing them like they were balls...lol.
