Ewww...Bloodwork

So I went in today for my glucose screening test (gestational diabetes) and for them to check my iron levels...so I thought. I arrive at the lab and the receptionist says not only did the dr. order the glucose test but also a full panel (all the same bloodwork as the 1st trimester). I said-that can't be, I've already had that done. She said that's what the orders on my lab slip said. So I called the dr.'s office and they confirmed saying they do the original bloodwork over again at 27 weeks when the glucose test is done!! OMG...my biggest phobia is needles and having blood drawn so I went in thinking I was going to have maybe 2 vials drawn and I believe they drew 5 or 6. Thank goodness Brian went because I was so so faint afterwards-even after laying down when the blood was drawn. I went home afterwards and laid down for about 30 minutes before coming into work. I feel much better now but I definitely hope I don't have to have anymore bloodwork done until I enter the hospital for delivery. Please pray that I've passed the glucose test, if not I will have to go back for more bloodwork.
